After PM MODI sent his man Friday to reorganise a bruised and broken BJP in UTTAR PRADESH . He played a key role in the historic win for the party in lok Sabha elections because ” AMIT BHAI ” is constantly measuring up people and issues for his ” “SAHEB “.

Born in MUMBAI 1964 , he was elected MLA from Gujarat sarkhej in four consecutive elections . He later shifted his constituency to NARAPURA assembly in2012 . His first meeting with PM MODI happened in 1982 in AHEMDABAD RSS circles when PM MODI was an RSS pracharak .

Both shah and his mentor held GUJARAT with a firm hand since 2003 , when he was inducted as the youngest minister in his cabinet with the distinction of holding many portfolios such as home , civil defence , law and justice , legislative , excise , transport , prohibition and many more . Considered a invaluable deputy to any NETA he has taken less than a year to catapult himself to the party’s supremo on the national stage .

SHAH’ s no-nonsense style functioning which includes doing a through homework before meetings to ensure that he has his way , he has won several admirers within the BJP and RSS .

The Supreme Court had clubbed the three cases in which CBI had framed milder charges against SHAH . The CBI had already exonerated him in the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case .

Now with JHARKHAND , MAHARASTRA , HARYANA scheduled to go to polls later this year , the newly elected BJP president AMIT SHAH will now have a herculent task to bring the BJP into power in all the three states.
